Got a package from the previous owners of this house that I purchased in 2010.
I found the wife on fb and sent her a message.
I also mentioned that there is a spirit/ghost of a mischevios (sp)
toddler here.

Now i;m wondering if maybe that was a bit to personal to mention. Thoughts?

Oh, for the previous owners. Ya, maybe. Maybe do a records search if you're that curious. I couldn't find anything on my house as far as deaths, it's a '36 so chances are someone died there.

 

What does the toddler do. And I wouldn't worry about mentioning that, how the hell you supposed to know if they lost a child?

 

He/She hasn't been around for quite a while.
The last 2 times, this small door in my studio used to be wide open when i would get home from work. Even after centering the knob and putting a wedge under the door.

The last one woke me up after a deep sleep.
The springy door stop thing in the bedroom.
It sprung like 3 times. Like a child was playing with it.

The last thing that happened was the freakiest. Happened maybe 2 years ago.

I came home from work and parked in the garage. The garage wall is the same wall that a long hallway runs down inside the house.

As I put my hand on the doorknob to enter the house, right on the other side of the door,
a young child started laughing, toddler age.

Then it started running down the length of the hallway in like an unsteady, off balance way like you know how a toddler runs when it first learns?

I followed it with my eyes thru the garage wall all the way to the front door. The whole time it was giggling.
Then it just stopped once it got to the front door.

 

Spooky! That shit has never really freaked me out much. Our ghost was fairly active, never really bothered my wife and kid but loved to fuck with me. She pretty much kept herself confined to our bedroom. I thought I was getting early onset dementia, but I never had anything happen anywhere else, and I stay in hotels twice a week.

 

Yea. Theres no negative energy. Just being playfull.

The last one freaked me out a bit though.
I was frozen there with my hand on the doorknob for a good 2 minutes trying to wrap my head around wha I heard.

"Did my ex break into my house with her infant son"?
"Is some crazy woman insde my house".

Finally pulled my glock from my waistband and entered the house. The alarm was still active so i pressed the code and did a full sweep of the house.

Then I just felt smething, like a calmness and said outloud..."You silly child" and went on about my things.

 

Funny you mention the calmness. When I saw mine, that's what it was. I woke up, wife hadn't gone to bed yet, and she was standing right next to my bed. I could have reached out and touched her, but I didn't. It was totally dark but she was light, just standing there not moving, looking straight ahead. Young, late teens early twenties, very pretty. Light brown or dirty blonde curly hair. 1940's clothing, like she was going somewhere special. Wearing a tiara and a flower print dress. No idea how long she was there, but she just slowly faded away. I wasn't freaked at all, just a calmness like a blanket. Went back to sleep and told my wife about it the next day. Tons of other shit but that's the only time I saw her.

I wished I saw mine. Shoulda just opened the door and watched it run down the hall and fade away at the front door.

 

I imagine since theres been no activity in a while here that it just finally passed thru to where it always intended on going.

 

I had never been a believer in that stuff, even now with all the stuff I've seen I'm still not sure...

 

Interesting...my brother seems to have the radar for these event. When we were young we had bunk beds and I had the bottom, him the top. He woke up and saw a glowing figure looking at him from the foot of the bed. It looked at him then began to lower to my level below. Big brother wanted to protect me so he hopped up in bed, went to the foot and looked down. Nothing there. When he was early teens he was walking the back 40 of our fish farm. About 100yards away he saw someone crossing an open area where nobody should ever be. Ran down to that open area and not a footprint in the snow
