I would just buy, cabs are cheap. Figure in cost of materials and your time.... hell, you can find fender mustang practice amps for around fiddy bills. Just rip out the guts and run it as a cabinet.

That's a pretty good idea actually. I noticed cabs in that size are not common, but there's plenty of combo in that size.

Yeah, 1x12 seems to be more common. Why 1x10 though? just curious

Want it to be small so I can take it on trips. 8 is a bit to tinny for me. 10 is still small, but sounds better.

I already got a big amp 6505+ combo.

Record the one part, play in headphones, and record other part, and so on. Good luck, I'm not patient enough for that myself haha!

So that little Orange Micro Dark amp sounds frigging bad ass. Can't believe such a cheap tiny little amp can sound so good. The headphone feature is great too. You can just grab the little shit and plug it in and jam with your headphones, as long as you got power, and not get yelled at by your neighbors at 3am after you just finished off a fifth and actually believe you're that next Dimebag.

So I did this Petty tune a few months back.
Just wanted to shout out to the new guys what some low level recording eqpt
and some novice skills can achieve. by yourself, in a dark basement with some crackers and beer and a very, very novice guitar/drummer/bass player. :)

Listen to me when I tell you, the only person you have to impress is yourself.
Not the campfire folks nor the family gatherings. The keggers at the neighbors house.

When you do something that completely stomps the ass of what you have previously achieved.....in your head, thats acheievment. Not because other people think about how you play. It's about how you play.

Not sure I even made any sense. BEER ME!

Anyone buying new gear with the stim check?
I'll probably just get an input jack replaced and maybe some bulk strings.

Probably just some shit around the house that needs done. Got a couple gates that need to go up and a sloping walkway that needs leveling/jacking.

Having no dept is the way to go. I could just pay the rest off now, threw my tax money at it. It's .1 % interest, so it's not a super big deal. Will be nice to have an extra $400 cash a month to go to whatever.
