    Same.

I saw Dennis Rodman once at Detroit Airport. Dude was so damn tall. That's about all the famous people I have ever seen in person.

Ran into a few over the years, never really cared to meet any. I usually just leave them alone, always getting bugged by people anyways or security keeping people away. Have always wanted to meet Jerry Rice tho...

Met John Mellencamp a few times over the years while living in Bloomington.
Once when I was fresh out of high school at the mall.

When I worked at a trim shop, one of my 1st jobs was a convertible top on his 58 chevy impala. (seen in the rooty toot toot, and I think Rumble seat videos).

Sometime after that, I met his then wife, Elaine Erwin in walmart of all places and then again up on campus.

His oldest daughter and I are friends on FB and she's married to a guy my friend and I used to jam with. She graduated from the same high school as me I think 3 years after I did. We ran in different circles but would run into each other down town.

Used to play basketball at the apartments by my house with Steve Alford and Ewe Blab when they played for I.U. Used to get high with Ewe's then gf.

Also would run into Bobby Knight and his son Patrick all the time on campus.

Small world. Spent a lot of time in Bloomington as a kid, late 70s/early 80s timeframe. Have a brother that still lives there, sister in Martinsville. I'm about an hour and a half south these days.

Never met anyone famous back then lol.

I've met quite a good bit of guitar players/musicians. Steel Panther are some of the nicest guys. I've met a lot of newer bands like The Pretty Reckless, Sixx AM (totally starstruck by Nikki Sixx but the dude's a douche so much as if I ever met them again I'd be like whatever dude), Five finger death punch, papa roach... The cool dudes I've met are Anthrax multiple times, Corey Taylor, Testament, Exodus, Jackyl, others I can't think of on the spot. It's always cool meeting guitar heros. Scott Ian is a good dude.

Stumbled into a 2015 Gibson Midtown this past weekend. Traded a les paul tribute that i rarely played plus some cash on top. The thing screams! I'll try and get some pics uploaded at some point.

I think, it's been so long. 90s. The downtown area. Was a few good shops there. I'm sure they are gone by now. Miss those days before cell phones and social media though.

Waiting for the new release. Can't have it instantly like now. Made an album mean something because if you didn't like it you were stuck with it haha! Of course, that's when it was fun to trade stuff in and get used.
