Yup and I just changed the oil on the rear diff and transfer case on my Tacoma. I need a beer now.

 

I’ll be doing that on my truck soon. I’ve been neglecting it lately and it’s time to poor a little TLC into it.

Good luck with the front. Mine is soaking in PB blaster. Not sure what toyota was thinking with the drain plugs there.

 

I was supposed to pick up a front diff tomorrow for my conversion. Didnt really need the entire diff, just the non add tube.
Still havnt heard from the guy.

Also, my new manual spindles wont work with my 285/75/16 so now I gotta dump money into 5 skinnies so the trussing will fit.

Do you have to replace a crush washer on the dp?

 

I replaced mine when I did mine a few months ago. Fill plug and drain plug if I remember right.

You have to replace crush washers on both diffs, the transfer case, and oil drain pan.

 

I always thought it was required. idk. I let toyota change mine.

Took the wife to the ER today. Been complaining of bad abdominal pain for awhile. Had an dr appointment on the 7th but couldn't wait. She's tough so it had to be bad. They're keeping her till Monday then surgery. Some sort of intestinal blockage.

 

Sorry to hear man. Hope she gets to feeling better. 1st thing that came to mind was gall bladder. Sounded about like my ex wifes symptoms.

Hanging in there. It's some sort of intestinal "stone", pretty rare thing they say. They told her she won the most bizarre award today. All the staff knows who she is lol! Just feel bad she has to stay there till Monday at the earliest.
