my metal band practiced for the first time in a year!! Our singer is no longer with us, though, so it is back to the hunt there. WAs awesome to leave with ringing ears and to play bass again. We wrote/coordinated 6 new songs as well

this happened to us about 2 years ago...they found nothing abnormal through the whole process...but she was definitely in distress. Said the pains were like giving birth. They though it was possibly diverticulitis..

    hope she is getting better

The only good thing about Monday's is at 5:00 when it's time to go, that's if you leave at 5.

Mine depends on when I start working. I have a flexible schedule. I used to go in a 6:30 to beat traffic on the way to the office and heading home, but now I work from home so it's not that big of a deal to start early.

meh, it's a decent gig. All the big wigs leave by 4pm plus the 10% 2nd shift bonus is nice.

I used to work 3rd shift. Loved it. No one around. Everyone is going to work when you're heading home.

Did 3rds for several years. Was a reg over in the graveyard shift thread. I enjoyed it in the winter when I could get home and to bed before daylight but summers were hell, Even with everything blacked out in the bedroom.

My highlight of the morning was standing in line at 7:30am with a six pack of ipa and some biscuits at my local C store. The looks on peoples faces. lol.

Heh, used to work at a 24hr restaurant/bar. Would get off at 7AM and go start hammering beer's in the bar with the old timer alcoholics. Those guys were pros.

That's sweet. I was a waiter quite a few times when I was in college. That was a fun job. One place I worked was a Mexican resteraunt / bar called Don Pablos. I liked that I got to constantly meet girls and get hooked up at the bar with drinks. Fun time.
