Enjoy that. I’ve been waiting for a Polaris sled that I snowchecked last spring. With the supply chain issues, and delivery delayed 3 times so far, they gave the option of waiting, shifting my deposit to a 2023 snowcheck, or getting my deposit back. I went with option three. I get that there’s vendor issues, but to take being delayed from an October delivery until March for them to offer a refund left a bad taste. Have a totally refundable at anytime deposit down on a ‘23 Doo. Next sled season is only 10 months away! Lol

We got snow in the dirty south this morning. Pretty unusual for us.

Ordered a set of Seymour Duncan pickups for the Ibanez bass last night.
Should be here sometime on Monday.
Not sure what to expect from them but excited to install them.

oh man...I would have died...Joan Jett was my first ever crush back in the late 70's...everyone else had Farrah Fawcett or Christy McNichols posters in there room...I had JJ posters!!!!

I had 3 band practices this weekend...drums, drums, and bass...so lots of playing. Watching the Steelers get buried by KC now. Getting booster shot tomorrow so will have some down time to do some playing w/o amp...just learning some new covers (Faith No More and COC) and running scales and stuff.

Wanted to get a snow mountain bike ride in tomorrow as well - with what little snow we will get - but the shot thing is putting the kibosh on that

The reverb shop name is "Clockwork Guitars" and it's run by his son Beckett. I put a watch on it to see what else comes up.

Been practicing the three initial chords I learned on the ole acoustic, but started getting impatient. Just wanted to learn ONE song dammit that wasn’t just chords alone.

Happened across a lesson for “Greensleeves”, which many of you probably don’t know but is an old English folk song / ballad. My dad loved it. Got through the first series of notes pretty decently after much practice. Good lord this is hard, I’m completely retarded on any chord change that doesn’t involve an anchor. And digging into fingerstyle/roll techniques that I’ve never attempted is challenging. But nice to hear a few notes ringing out in a familiar song…

Thanks to all for the encouragement…
