The reverb shop name is "Clockwork Guitars" and it's run by his son Beckett. I put a watch on it to see what else comes up.

Been practicing the three initial chords I learned on the ole acoustic, but started getting impatient. Just wanted to learn ONE song dammit that wasn’t just chords alone.

Happened across a lesson for “Greensleeves”, which many of you probably don’t know but is an old English folk song / ballad. My dad loved it. Got through the first series of notes pretty decently after much practice. Good lord this is hard, I’m completely retarded on any chord change that doesn’t involve an anchor. And digging into fingerstyle/roll techniques that I’ve never attempted is challenging. But nice to hear a few notes ringing out in a familiar song…

Thanks to all for the encouragement…

Had a strap button installed on my Martin HD28 today.. damn near broke my heart to modify it. But it had to be done if it’s going to be a long term workhorse.

I think I finally got burst down I want. Took me a few times and ton of sanding, but I have learned a lot in the process. I use leather dye. You rub it on with a rag and kinda move it around. Had to file all the control holes out to accept the bourn pots I got.

Problem is that it's a little too cool in my basement to spray the sanding sealer, so I may have to wait till spring. Will focus on the neck now I guess.

Since I have been in my current house, I have just been playing on a little Vox Mini 3 G2 amp, in my work office room. Yesterday I grabbed my old Crate amp from high school, along with an old DOD Grind pedal that I got in the late 90s. It actually sounds pretty killer. It's been years since I used them, so I sort of forgot. I only play in the house or occasionally with a friend, so I don't have a big amp or anything. I know that seems silly. Anyways, just thought I would share lol.

Lol awesome. Ya, that is almost the exact one that I have. I thought about getting a Fender LT25 or like a Peavy 112. But I don't really play loud or have a need. But I'm sure I would get a much better tone. But that little Crate is decent for what it is. But I've never had anything great for an amp, so I guess ignorance is bliss lol.
