idk if they make something like the irig. surely somebody does. Or if that is even what your looking for. That hooks to a pc. That tascam is standalone.

 

Was looking at those iRig's. They look perfect. Just gotta figure out if they work with Android. If it does that will be perfect.

I used to play, and worked for Digitech and helped with the development and testing of pedals in the iStomp series. I also have the final massive iPad pedal board they made. It was a special one just for me when I left the company. I still love it.

I’ve pretty much turned everything over to my son. He’s kind of a wunderkind. He’s had everything available to him since birth, and is now 18. He’s thinking about going to Berklee, but hasn’t decided.

He plays a collection of Les Pauls and Mitchell “throwaway” guitars, which he loves. I still have my Fender Strat my dad got me for my 18th, 30 years ago. I’ve enjoyed looking through everyone’s collections here!

 

You can get a mic with apple connector. I have had this a while and it also has a headphone jack. Clarity is excellent, so much so that you hear every bad note. I get disgusted with my shitty playing every time I use it.

 

It's funny to go onto Reverb and Ebay to find a used interface and they are more used than just buying them brand new.

 

Even cheap epi's are damn near the price of a studio Gibson. lol

 

Dude, it's crazy. I miss the days of finding stuff cheap.

there's an app called Dolby On that i've been using. seems to just auto-EQ things but it works for getting ideas down and beats the shit out of the regular sound recording app.

 

New custom leather strap. Absolutely love it.

 

What did you use to condition/clean the fretboard with?

 

I’ll take a pic of the bottle sometime but it’s a bottle of Murphys I got like 8 years ago and some steel wool.

Fine steel wool use with the grain of the fretboard, clean excess wool debris, paper towel scrub with light Murphy’s oil on it, clean paper towel scrub to get excess oil off. Let dry before stringing.

I also do a tiny bit of Murphys on my bridge so that doesn’t start drying out.

 

I like it. Looks comfy. I got a similar one I will post in black.

 

I lied it’s Old English Lemon oil.
