Just taught myself to set up and adjust a Fender style bridge on my PRS and swapped out the saddles with brass. A lot more involved than I expected, but now I know how to do it. Got to do then intonation next and adjust the pickup up height to a full set up.

Last thing I gotta do is learn to file nuts so I can lower the action.

You really need a good strobe tuner for intonation. Also, set intonation in the playing position, never flat on its back.

Right on. I got a Boss Chromatic Tuner I think that's strobe. I thought is was a matter of holding on the 12th and adjust accordingly.

Open string then fretted. Don't set it by harmonics. Same distance from the nut to the 12th as the 12th to the bridge.

Chromatic and strobe tuners are not the same. I think some chromatic tuners have strobe ability but all strobe tuners have chromatic abilty.
Iv'e pushed the Peterson strobe tuner because it's what I use and its the industry standard.

Yea, it looks like you are going to be way out of intonation. In the future, take the measurement from the back of the bridge to where the string hits the saddle or any other reference point (rear of the pickup to the saddle or 12th fret to the saddle. You'll save yourself alot of time.

Got her as good as she is gonna get. Not really a fan of tremolo bridges.

Man, sanding the back of the neck to 2k and waxing it. So smooth! No more sticking to the neck.

I am unsure if the brass saddles made a difference, but they look cool.

I have two flame maple pickup rings to finish to match the truss cover.

Whats going on guys? Pretty quiet around here.

I just glued my first neck into a guitar. Next time I will use more glue I think. Gonna have to fill the gap where the heel meets the body. Nothing major, a bit more work, but everything I saw was saying to be careful how much glue you use and I wanted to err on the side of caution.
