Any guitar players on TW?

truth. i think i have 4 or 5 TS type pedals, my favourite being the Black Arts Toneworks Witch Burner. for my Mesa, i keep the dirt down, level cranked, and tone adjusted to taste. really good way to tighten the low-end and add a little sparkle.

best not-so-secret weapon.

 

Every time I pull any of my early Roadstars out, I am simply freaking amazed at the quality, the sound, the build, the "meaty" weight of these guitars built in the fugi-gen factory in the late 70s and 80's.

This RS440RV is an absolute beast!! I need a scale cause this thing feels like it weighs as much or more as the G&L Jerry Cantrell model.

ignore the 2 crappy acoustics. the amp is an 18w clone (trinity s3 v6). the electrics are a 2006 american strat (mahogany), 1986 contemporary tele made in japan, and a 1987 contemporary strat also made in japan. the cream colored strat is my number 1.. i paid $125 for it in high school in the 90s.

 

200 watts in stereo, why not?

Got my 430 in. Built 800 some before my 430 was built.
Very nice construction, heavy to me and super pleased. I love these 1984 models. Super clean, neck is sweet, electronics are good but there is an issue w the input jack. Other than that, worth every penny.

i got one too a while back for dirt cheap. ended up hating the thing and flipping it.

depends. are you running the Boneshaker into the clean or dirty channel? i think it might work better as an EQ/ Boost into a drive channel.

i was using it with an ESP M-I tuned to C-standard into an clean Ampeg V4

 

It's a single channel amp. The Tiny Terror. It'll probably be a slightly crunchy channel to begin with because the way the amp works the gain can act as volume too so for a clean sound the volume has to be WAY up. Still get some massive tones out of it though. I may have to run it post tube screamer. We'll see.

 

Just purchased a super rare A code, b plate Kramer strat head, star body guitar in ultra rare "Melaga Purple". Should be in in a couple days.
Late 81, early 82 shredder with a Schaller pickup.

Can't link atm, but if you Google search, you will find it. It's possible it the only Melaga purple in existence.

I was informed that the Kramer was originally bought by a very well known Kramer collector.
Looks like i'm the 4th owner and it came from a private collection.
Suuuuuper stoked for delivery on SAT. Will be handed off to my Luthier on monday.

Just picked up a Highway One Stratocaster. Previous owner put friggin EMG's in it. I'm gonna take those out and put in some Seymour Duncans most likely in it.
