As a fledgling player, I read a lot of Matics posts and learned from them. Didn't know him personally, but obviously he was the heart and soul of this thread.

I remembered seeing his post above. Might be nice to see something like that, or whatever you guys who knew him best recommend, be placed in the upper right corner of this thread, like the current tribute pic.

@Daria I saw he was a friend of yours. Is this possible? If so, don't take my word for what to display without other commenting.

If y’all wanna pick a picture that best represents him, we can make it the header pic.

    Actually...another thought on this.

Can we make @Matic the OP of the thread? TheOneBob offered it prior as he is a placeholder OP.

I believe the top left one was his first guitar and his favorite. He did all the paint himself.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

I like those. He really loved the Kramer, hated selling it.

Nice! Been looking at one of those to get back into some bass playing. A friend of mine said I wanna pick up a P bass. I had a fender jazz bass back in the 90s, and an old Yamaha. Wish I still had them.

Bass is so much fun! My son plays drums. We have some epic Jam sessions! I play it all, this bass lets me flex my tone to play War pigs one song and Tennessee whiskey the next. I also have an Ibanez I keep tuned to drop D.

    cheers fellas

Have never tried a bass. I fear if I do, it's yet another guitar I will "need".

bass is fun, im a guitar player for over 30 years and always welcome the opportunity to play bass. I dont have one, but when asked to play it, I go for it...follow the drummer and hang on...haha

Anyone using a Dunlop crybaby wah? I am undecided as to what to get. Seems that is the OG of pedals. I want no bells and whistles.
