All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
So a friend brought over one of those Spark Amps…the sound was not bad at a low/med volume.
I really like how fast you could be jamming along to any tune you wanted with this thing.
    Pretty cool

    Thanks!

Tele pickguard and control cover is the plan, but I have been looking at those thin line tele pickguards too. They would cover less.

    These:

Not sure yet though. Standard would look good. Have to decide on color too. Black with a white layer would look good.

It's weird usually I have an image of my build in my head, but not with this.

Those are kinda sweet. I like how portable they are and how they can sound like anything.

For the money…to be able to get rolling so quick. I was impressed. I can see how changing out the speaker would be a good option.
Not sure how loud one needs to push this thing. The headphones I was using also worked well.

Spark......HUH!....Never seen them before, had to turn up some googlin'. so they are a BT speaker for music as well? How is the low end response and volume? I have a Roland TD4 KP that would potentially be a candidate for one of these. Just for hearing without earbuds and close personal jam sessions.... very interesting!!!

What’s the plan for the neck and fretboard?
After I see it oiled up I could give you my 2cents on the color of pick guard.

I could just hit it with boiled linseed, but I was thinking to match the body. Do a kinda burst on the back of the neck.

I like the idea of matching it up.

I do too. My only grip is that the fret markers are black, so if I make it match the body they will be hard to see unless I lighten the center or do a kinda burst between each fret. I did this on my last build. I could just replace them with white or pearl, but that's so much work.

Don’t do a burst between each fret, that would look way too busy.
Might just have to keep this one on the classic side?

I'd maybe just match the headstock, or have it match to the darkest color of the burst (burst on the headstock might look odd).

Right. Would be easier too, but I really want to a burst / worn look on the back of the neck though. Conundrums! It's good to have options though.

It can. But dark everything would look pretty clean and a burst on the back of the neck. I see so many Tele's with plain necks, just kinda what to do somethng different. Gotta look a that neck and see if their is any figure to show off.
