    AND HERE SHE IS!
I have a minor ground issue, and a little buzz on the A up high, but she is all built up now and completed. JB FRONT.jpg JB BACK.jpg JB FR CU.jpg
I figured that exposing the end grain of the plies would have looked really bad and would have been a pain to seal back up. The existing paint was extremely robust and it seemed to make sense to leave the paint there. I just cannot bring myself to take the little plastic baggies off of the tuning keys. LMAO...
If there are any Squier MIK buffs out there, this is a genuine #E9XXXXXX as the headstock shows.. Apparently some contention regarding this in other forums.

GL.jpg Oh yeah, a '97 G&L ASAT Classic may have found it's way in to my stable this last week (NuGD). My first "Tele" Honey burst with unfinished wood "binding" on the body. They had some god awful Smokey Pearl PG on it, but it just didnt work with the color. I put the supplied original White back on, but it needs a tortoise. I have recently developed quite a soft spot for G&L... or as I call them "Fender Elite" :)

There is something very uniquely attractive about this grain pattern.... it is reminiscent of a familiar shape.. anyone else notice the subtleties here? or am I just imagining

One more, my buddies 85’ Les Paul, me goofing around, no harm was done to the LP. In fact it got a look over from staff.

I think a 68’ Les Paul standard retailed for $460 back then, big money for the day. Can’t even imagine what an unmolested one would go for today.
