Yes, it does sound amazing. I wish my playing could do it justice.

My first good guitar, an Ovation Balladeer I bought new in 74' when they were state of the art and made back east. I bought it with my first summer of lifeguarding money. I loved Glen Campbell back then.

I still have it and reconditioned it recently. It has the most stunning Ebony fingerboard but the guitar is just wall art now because as I aged I got tired of the bright tone and the ridiculously thin neck.

Acoustics are all I have. I have an inexpensive Fender that I started learning on and when I decided to get serious about guitar got the Martin. I’m about 4 years into my guitar journey and am halfway through Hal Leonard’s book #3. Recently, I finally started to feel like a guitarist - not a very good one but a guitarist still. I hope my future holds a Gibson ES355 semi hollow body or similar.

I have owned a number of electrics, including a Gibson 335 and some other 335 style guitars.

Eastman makes a spectacular 335, mine sure was nice

It's a fun ride...I ended up catching the PRS bug, so don't pull acoustics out much.

My buddy had a 90s ES335 Red Cherry...he sold it in 99 for 800 bux...coulda been mine, but alas

When I bought my D10 I played just about every acoustic in the store for comparison. Some were worth thousands more than the D10 but I kept coming back to it for the combination of tone and playability that I was looking for. It's pretty plain jane in the looks department but I don't care about that.

getting closer to dialing in the Jazzmaster. new bridge and heavier strings. it definitely prefers strings a gauge or two higher than what I normally use.
