Any guitar players on TW?

Just found this from a guy that has about 40 Ibanez Roadstars. This is the original 430FG that I have that I painted multiple time since I bought it in 1985. He's letting a few go so I'm hoping to get this one if the price is right.

 

Talked to the guy. He wants $550 shipped from Nevada with the original brown chainsaw case. Super fair deal on a nearly mint guitar. Gotta move some money around, I guess.

 

I havnt put up a tree in probably 20 yrs. Spend all the holidays at the folks.
But that's pretty cool.

Family picture day! Welcoming my Yamaha Billy Corgan LJ16, and the used Fishman artist amp I picked up Friday to the family.
Christmas morning looks like new socks, now. All my gifts are definitely unwrapped!

 

I say you can always learn some good tips and tricks from playing with someone else. Things click differently than playing along to a video or click track.

 

I have found justinguitar.com to have a very detailed lesson plan, covering everything you’d ever want to learn. I’ve learned quite a bit on that site. Very well laid out lessons.

 

Agreed. justinguitar helped me get off the ground with open G tuning and movements.

I'd be down, just don't have the setup to contribute. I can play a number of instruments, but not too good at one particular thing.

I record alot of stuff on my tascam DP02.
Just mix stuff around, add drums and play bass to it. Really rather fun to do it all from start to finish.

 

The gf isn't on TW, but she is a pretty good guitar player. She used to write her own songs back in the day but has kind of slowed down these past few years. We do jam out every now and then.

I have a couple cover tunes and stuff but I've learned alot about mixing down since that stuff was uploaded.
It's just fun to me to sit around and noodle.
