^ I was not expecting that.

I'm always impressed by the real talent and skill behind what otherwise seem like novelty acts. There are so many excellent musicians in the world that a person needs a hook to make themselves stand out, but sometimes it's hard to see past that hook.

Charo had "cuchi cuchi!", Lady Gaga had her meat suit, Buckethead's got...well, a bucket on his head. Crazy to think I'd know nothing of any of them if not for those gimmicks.

You guys making me break out the Al Di Meola on a Thursday?

I haven't listened to Elegant Gypsy in many years but just stumbled on a 2015 performance of it by him on YouTube. The sounds a bit muffled but damn he's effortlessly fast.

    Check around 1:10 or so.

New 2019 Les Paul Standard 60's arrived today. Gibson is moving in the right direction under the new management. Back to classic specs and finishes. Its flawlessly made and sounds amazing. The weight is about right for a Les Paul (it ain't balsa wood)! Loving it so far!

Wow, striking finish! It looks as if you could reach into it, such depth. It’s reminiscent of cats-eye quartz. I’m sure it’s still sustaining from the last chord you played, lol
    Congrats!

There's something about a classic Les Paul that makes me moist. That guitar is flawless. It just resonates tone simply looking at it! GREAT choice!

Sorry for the lack of actual photos. I picked this bad boy up earlier this week. What a neck. Slim and FAST! And the mini humbuckers are HOT!

i fuckin' love those vintage Ibanez Artists! i used to have a single-necked one with the vintage violin burst finish and the cloud tail piece. ended up selling it because i didn't like the neck dive on it.

I havnt confirmed yet but I think this belongs to a guy from one of my Vintage Ibanez fb pages. But I was thinking the guy gave way more than what this one is selling for.

I also have a buddy that has the single neck version with the outside route. It does not have the tree of life though, it has block inlays. I believe it's some guys name. Some signature model.
