    i use Mitchell's abrasive cord to fix burrs on saddles and nuts. pretty cheap on Amazon or in electronic's stores, one roll has lasted me years. also Big Bends Nut Sauce helps with string breakage (along with tuning stability).

    I played it nite and day till I could get it right. I bought a sony reel to reel 4 track
    from the classified ads for like $40 back in 1980somethingor so. I didnt really know how a reel to reel worked
    but I had some practice with a tascam X-28 4 track which still sits in my closet., along with a shit ton of cassettes from 1980-1989 .

    up on reverb tonight. Purchased!

    Perfect timing, Perfect gift.

    People can rag on Gibson all they want but they still have (IMO) the best guitars. I have 3 les pauls now. Just picked up a 2011 Studio Deluxe in Sunburst. Came with BareKnuckle Abraxis pickups. It's chambered so it's about 7.5 lbs. Easy to play and sounds just amazing. I'll upload pictures when I get them.

    I just ventured into mahogany bodied / 24.75 scale guitars again, myself. I had an Epi LP, but I couldn’t get comfortable with it.
    I tried, fell in love with, and bought a Yamaha Revstar 502T. Mahogany, with a maple cap, mahogany neck, P90s.
    It’s more comfortable to me, due to the belly cut, and forearm cut. Not too much neck dive. And it sounds so BIG! Great bass response, but not muddy at all. Happy 55th birthday to me!
