Any idea what this plug is?

    Was routing cables for stereo and found this connecter stuck in the back of one of the blank switch covers, the one closest to the steering wheel in the same bank as the mirror control. And my truck is an 08 double cab 4x2, I have in the upper bank of switches, fog lights, rear locker and bed power, below that is three empty slots right beside the mirror control.

    need more info...truck type model etc etc

    I have an SR5 4x4 6spd manual...and i have the same thing...think it is the wiring for the bed outlet...?

    I believe it's for the factory security system. All trucks are wired for it, even if they don't have the option selected.

    I was thinking alarm, so if so, a person would just need the brain (ecu), the window break sensor and the fob's.

    yea i have that one too...i always wondered what it was
