Oh boy. It's hard to make a funny nobody has heard of before that doesn't use vulgarity making it obvious sarcasm. The brightest of the bright on the intrawebs are always quick to assert their intelligence over someone they think unknowingly made a mistake.

I understand people suffer from the hood scoop glare; however I've never once driven my truck and thought wow, I have blinding glare from the hood scoop. I'd complain more about it being non-functional before it being glaring.

I complain about the weather. I grew up on a farm. That's what farmers do.

I complain about taxes. Damn near everyone does.

I complain about my inlaws. If you knew 'em you would too.

I DON'T complain about my job. I actually LIKE my job.

I DON'T complain about my wife (loud enough that she can hear me)

I DON'T complain about glare from my hood scoop. I bought a TRD Off Road.....

    And so it goes.....

When I test drove a TRD sport I did notice the hood glare. Was it bad, I suppose if I noticed it and made note of it I guess it was. I've not noticed any glare with my non hooded scoop.

I imagine the glare is more an issue with guys who are tall enough to be real men. The shorties avoid the glare. You lucky little boys. :infantry:

Hood Scoop...Rounded surface facing you = glare anytime sun is above you and behind you and to the side of you.

Normal hood. No rounded surface facing you = glare only when sun is in front of you lower on the horizon.

More possible combinations of sun position to get glare with the hood scoop as opposed to without. It's not rocket surgery or brain science folks.
