Has anyone considered adding window tint to the lower portion of the windshield where only the hood is visible?

Perhaps a dashboard visor that you could flip up to cover the same area.

Road dawg.., nice scheme looks sweet...

Coming from Cleveland.., not much worry about too much sun glare.., guessing a bigger problem in San Diego..

A pair of Blu Blockers might help....

Plasti-dip it flat black and peel it off if you don't like the look.

Never complain about sun-glare...., nice problem to have!

Browns beat Raiders 2-0 tomorrow in a high scoring slug fest!

hey drainbung....yes,it's matte, had to get a product from "chemicalguys.com" to keep it looking decent,it was done at a local shop here(tucker paint and body)how it follows the factory contour around the a-pillar is really a nice touch.

He will be uploading tacoma and 4runner ones in the weeks to come, patience my friend

I have been talking with him about this for the last month or two. He has taken a lot of input to put towards them, they should be slick with decal cutout options.

Trust me, you do not want the hood scoop. Just be thankful you actually have a perfect hood and not the silly fake hood scoop that does reduce visibility and does give a nasty glare driving down the road.

The Taco hood is so flat - even the one with no scoop - that at certain times of day, even the matte black decals (or the asphalt street for that matter) can't handle it.
    completely wrong angle.jpg
It is way better with the decal than before - for most situations - and I drive into the sun each morning / and evening due to where I live, relative to work.
