I have these fabtech 2300 coil overs on my truck. The are stiff as a board because they are jacked all the way. I’m trying to bring the truck back to stock height (remove block lift and lower these). My problem is that even with a cheater bar and line I can’t get them to budge with the special wrench. Any ideas?

Truck is jacked up, no weight on the tires.

Pretty sure you need to compress the spring before you turn that with a spanner wrench. Hit it with some penetrating oil too

The reviews on Amazon say it takes a while but not too bad to raise up. I’m guessing just stuck? Going to spray lots of oil in there and let it sit for a day or so

They’re really fine threads and I think you can do it without compressing the spring. But if you’re having trouble it wouldn’t hurt to compress it, or just take the shock off.

Honestly I tried that too. The bolt on the LCA is seized as well. This truck wasn’t extremely well taken care of.
I was hoping this would be an easy hour long process but that’s usually not the case lol. Going to soak those bolts in lube and try taking them off again in a few days

Conclusion was PB penetrating oil, wire brush and the biggest channel locks they sell at Home Depot. Once it broke free it was easy to adjust.
