3500 miles. 2019 MT. Lights came on while driving and got a message on the HUD saying pre collision was unavailable. Any one else experience this?

    Thx guys

Also I didn’t accidentally press the steering wheel button FYI

Did you press the traction button by the sunglasses holder?

Edit: Your parking break is on and you're not wearing your seatbelt too

Didn’t hit the trac button. 27 degrees is nothing so I doubt a freeze up. Belt is off and brake is on because I’m parked.

Did it happen when it was snowing, it could be your front sensor is iced-over or it's dirty.

    My 2 cents.

    Something blocking sensor?

Like a bird blessing your grill/wherever the sensor is located?

Hmm, the trac button will turn traction control off and auto LSD on, I can't remember if the collision system is also turned off in this mode (I guess it would?) If you didnt hit it accidentally then I think you will be taking it in for service

Toyota emblem is clean and it wasn’t snowing. Although that has happened before so I appreciate it

I cannot get over how funny you guys are with the acid jokes, setting that aside. Anymore real thoughts on the issue would be much appreciated.

Someone replied in another thread that it maybe because you were driving into direct sunlight and the sensor was disabled temporarily. No idea if it was true or not.

Same thing happened to my 19 one early morning commute. A few miles later it went away when I was driving in a different direction so it may have merit.

It’s possible but I don’t see how that would effect the differential and traction control
