I heard that the 2017 3.5 V6 with auto trans will have 4.3 gear ratio instead of the wimpy ass 3.9 gears......lol

That was debunked as a typo in one doc. All other docs say otherwise and that the gear ratio is the same.

Yes, and even on Toyotas updated website with 2017 Tacoma info , 16 and 17 have the same gear ratio.

That means there is a facility the truck goes to after assembly and before being shipped. The port options the dealer selected will then be installed there and the truck will be shipped out.

"The Great Hambino, post: 12994391, member: 193862"]I just picked up my 2017 tocoma SR5 dcsb 4x2 yesterday. No power rear window, and no power locking tailgate. The dealer said those are all easy additions after market and referred me to their custom shop. I can only imagine how costly that will be.
As for everything else, it is an incredible truck. I was driving a 2003 SR5 dcsb 4x2 with manual door and windows with 250,000 miles. I feel spoiled!"

    ^^^^^
just looked online - they are not offering the SR5 with the upgraded aluminum wheels for 2017? Or is it possible that the site hasn't been fully upgraded? Looks like the Blazing Blue comes with upgraded black wheels but all of the other colors come with the cheap looking steel rims.

I believe the rear power window is standard on the sport, off road and limited. I wouldn't be surprised if the rear power window in the sr5 wasn't already all there, just have to buy the switch and maybe a couple other things to make it work, but I bet the mechanics are already installed possibly

I got my build date of August 20th. Anyone know roughly how long it takes between the build date and delivery?

    None yet
So did you get yours yet? I just got an email from my dealership saying "We know that it is going to be a 2017. But as of right now Toyota hasn't given me a date yet of when we should be receiving it. As soon as they give us any news at all you are the first person Im calling! I apologize for your wait I wish there was a way I could get this to speed up"
