    It looks worthwhile to me. I have seen guys use real fluke style boat anchors in sand/snow. This might work too if the ground is hard enough and there is nothing else to anchor to.

    Seems like it'd be a tough SOB to get back out of the ground when you were through with it. I'm preferential to the Pull Pal myself.
