OK here is the story, My wife said I could not lift my truck because she is to small to get into it . So I got a great deal on an 86 4runner, that she said I could do what ever I want to do to it. Well the first problem that I see is the rear leafs are flat, so I would like to get a new leaf pack for the rear but the only thing I have found was add-a-leafs. I would like to get a 3"-4" lift for it but all of the lift kits I have seen come with an add-a-leaf w/ no option for the leaf pack. I have searched, and they make Dakar's for the rear but I have not been able to get a price for them. So if someone could just point me to a website or dealer that would be appreciated.

toytec has spacer lift w/ aal and wheelers only has 1990 and up. Thanks, I think I found a guy in town.

 

Check out pirate for builds, I would not go with lift spring or aal but rather some f150s or chevy 63's. A spacer lift and diff drop will set the front about the same height. A sas would be better though.

 

Thanks, but I don't think i could get away with a SAS. I was just looking to get a few more inches out of the front and to put the curve back in the rear. I will look into the 63's and ford leafs.

 

If an sas is outa the question a spacer lift is a good option. Will need a diff drop as well. Could go with total choas ( I think ) they have a "long travel" kit to get lil more travel out of the ifs.
