So, I'm reading through a book called the 4-wheelers bible and it mentioned that it's a good idea to have multiple people in your group of people that you wheel with, certified in CPR and First Aid.

Would any of you be interested in a low cost class if I put one on?

I'm a certified instructor as well as an EMT and I've talked to a few people about my first aid kit that I carry (slightly better than a standard wal-mart kit).

The only cost would be for the second instructor I would bring in. He's got more experience than myself and could provide a more "trail worthy" first aid course as well as provide input in what you all should have in your kit.

I've already talked to him about it and he's good with $15 total for the day (typically $30 a class/ $60 for the day). You'll get a first aid and CPR/AED certification card (if you want one for work/personal reasons) and some awesome input from someone who has tons of experience in the realm of Wilderness Emergency Medicine.

There's a poll attached, just vote, yes/no/maybe and comment with a Saturday that you would want to do it.

Again, I'm not trying to make a buck off of you guys, I just thought I would see what kind of interest, if any, that this might have.

My work is supposed to put me through one of these classes from red cross but haven't heard of when it's supposed to happen. Couldn't hurt to do it twice, especially for $15... I'm down, sounds like a good idea. I'll be free On February 7th

I'm always down to learn how to save a life.

Though odds are I'll just pull out my phone and record the person dying so I can youtube it later. But hey knowledge is power!
