Any interest in a dash cam group buy?

I'm curious, even if they thought they were waiting on the group buy to end, why the people who already made their purchase haven't gotten their deposit back. They already charged my credit card for the camera purchase.

Good question, as long as the 16 cameras were ordered and paid for, I would've figured they'd want to send em out.

I did just email them to inquire about my order shipment and deposit refund, even though USDashCamera already provided an update on the matter. They could have at least refunded the deposits by now.

 

Got an email today saying they are refunding all the deposits and sending out all orders today for everyone who ordered.

Sorry for the delay and thanks for your patience everyone.

They said they will keep the coupon code TACOMAWORLD active until next Friday if anyone wants to order still.

 

Just received shipment notification on my order.

 

WHEW glad its actually happening. Been getting nervous all week wondering wtf was taking so long haha. If anyone gets notification for the deposit refund too they should let us know.

Asked them if we will receive the refund and was told 24 to 48 hours.

Also received my refund.

Sucks that the shipment is scheduled to arrive next Friday. Le sigh.

Be aware that they require signature on delivery unless you miss the first attempt and sign the slip left for them to get on second attempt.

 

Somehow I missed the shipping info.
I got a response from Blackboxmycar that states my order was shipped on 2/9/18 and is scheduled for delivery on 2/19/18.

 

I was really getting worried because of the deposits and they charged me twice for shipping. but in the end I got my refunds back and also shipping confirmation for 2/22 so i'm happy

 

You live in hawaii? My conformation shows next day delivery. I expect.next day or day because of the 50 dollar chrge.

I've been super anxious waiting to hear back from my insurance. If people didn't see my post before, I bought a 2007 Prius a few weeks ago as my new daily driver so I don't have to drive my tacoma everywhere, and in less than a week I got into an accident. I rear ended someone so they automatically assume it's my fault but I had an Anker roav c2 recording that shows the driver I hit changed lanes in front of me and slammed on her brakes all within 2 seconds on icy roads so I am fighting it. She was also making an unsafe lane change just a few feet from the car that was in front of me. My footage shows she starts changing lanes and only 2 seconds later before she is really fully in my lane she slams on her brakes because the cars ahead of me suddenly stopped. I hit my brakes but hit ice. In my video you actually see the Prius ABS/traction control light blink as it couldn't stop on the slick surface.

Luckily the Prius is not totalled but I'm still super pissed since I just bought it and I couldn't avoid the accident at all since she pulled in front of me and slammed on her brakes almost immediately.

Sent the video in 2 nights ago and haven't heard a peep. Getting annoyed.
