I'd like a 15-20 gallon talks under my toolbox.

I really like this idea. Yea you have to get out and gravity feed, but I can't imagine the cost being as high as the LRA from here:
    https://longrangeautomotive.com.au/Toyota-Tacoma-129L-Replacement~341

The upside is that you can get similar range with only a 15 gallon tank on a 2015 taco DCSB. No taco lean with the added wt on one side of the truck, etc... so 20 is gravy.

The key for me would be the fit and if it could be flush against the bed/cab with just an inch or two space loss would be perfect. (Especially if I can keep my bed rail mount)

In for any legal improvement. I was actually considering removing my drivers side bed cubby and cutting into the interior bedside to make a semi-flush storage area for a scepter. Bedspace is a premium on our vehicles.

In all actuality I'm fixing to be off for 2 weeks. First vacation in 2 years. That's the big time project that I am wanting to tackle. In addition to installing my Redline hood struts and under hood/camper shell lights and front mud flaps and wiring my ditch lights.
