I think it depends on what folks want to do that will really decide where it is.

If everyone just wants to have a meet and are not concerned with offroading, then Columbus would more than likely be very doable at one of the State Parks in the area. A shelter could be reserved ($$) at any of the state parks for 7:30 am to 10 pm.

If people want to offroad, then we'd have to get away from the city.

    Whats everyone say?

I'd be down for offroading...might bring my sister and her whip (TRD FJC) if we do.

I'm down for some wheeling, but there is nothing around here in Columbus! That's for sure!
I'd say, we just do a meet at some place like Quaker Stake and Lube on Polaris at
8500 Lyra Drive Columbus, OH 43240
First of all... it is going to be COLD as hell come Jan/Feb and most off-road parks will be closed, unless anyone has some land we can wheel on, then I'd say we are out of luck.

08chocotaco, I'll give ya a ride if and when we do have a meet... I'm on the east side (Waggoner Rd and East Broad St).

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
This is in my area...didn't even know it was there. I may be able to do a scouting run once they open back up to see if its worth going to or not. I've been wanting to host a meet. Maybe this spring/summer I can host and we could make a day trip to gasline place. Its about 35 minutes from where I am.

Even though it's not in Columbus, I think it may be a place to really consider if people are wanting to Wheel cause their ain't shit around C-bus. It'd be great it you could check it out since your pretty close.

Why I think GLM is a perfect idea.

-Only open when the weather gets warm again. I do not like the cold, I do not like being out in the cold. I'd like to look at everyones truck. I don't want to freeze my ass off doing it.

-You can camp overnight, have fires, grill/food.

-There WILL be wheeling. (will be NONE if we do a State Park or meet up at a restaurant)

Here is the latest response I've gotten from GLM:

Hey Chris, Just check out our schedule for next year and choose a date that fits your group's time-line and show up at the gate on any of our open dates, or you can rent the park for your group on our off weekends. Same rates applies by 25 people. 25 people required to rent the park for the weekend
