I do know the Weather Tech are supposed to be a bit thicker than the AVS, from all the research I've done, if that helps anyone.

Installed the 4-piece AVS set a week ago. Easy-Peasy process but pay particular attention to the fronts when raising the windows. I had to pull out a bit on the fronts nearest the mirrors to clear when the window was near the top. Once the window was up and in place they held position as they should with no clearance issues. I've yet to travel with windows down at any speed so can't attest to the result of that.

I installed a set of in-channel visors/rain guards. They have metal clips in addition to the adhesives to secure them in place. Easy installation, no noise issues, and does the job really well.

I've had mine over a year and half. No issues at all. I did buy some of the 3m double stick tape to replace, but have yet to use any.

Almost two years with my AVS in channel visors and no issues. No fading, No noises and auto up works fine. Still secure with windows down. Love em. Cleaning that channel out thoroughly before install is very important.

Also pushing visors all the way up channel when installing and leaving widow closed and preferably in sunlight for at least 24 hours after installing.

It's all in the preparation before install...make sure the channel is clean! And leave windows up in heat to make sure they adhere to the rubber.

For sure! Install in warm weather if possible. I was luckily able to keep windows closed for three hot days. I wish I put them on when I first got the truck.
