I’ve been a tough critic of Gen4 stumbling out of the gates, specifically with early build issues and price. My late ‘24 is much tighter than the early builds I had previously looked at on lots, Toyota seems to have obsessed with getting things right, and dealers are offering deep discounts. Game on.

In fact, you may not see discounts like this on any Toyota trucks for a very long time, so no need to wait around for an invitation.

The '24 and '25 are identical. No inherited root problems, that Toyo hasn't addressed.

Maybe where you live. Here they have $500 discount but then they charge for preloads to make up for that and more.

Well aware. By NON access, I was referring to the lack of rear doors to allow actual access to the access part of the access cab!

Who the hell signed off on that amazing new feature???? 1985 is calling....wtf :annoyed:

    Yep!

In 2024 I was watching the 4th Gen discounts. Now this executive order has peaked my interest on what is down the road.

“Canceling Biden's executive order that strived for 50% of new vehicle sales to be electric by 2030
Removing regulatory barriers to gasoline-powered vehicles”

On a serious note, in 10 years they could wind up being super reliable in the long term. I’d consider buying one if something ever happened to my 3rd gen after the powertrain has proven itself. I really like the idea of the hybrid.

The government needs to stop dictating what is available for the consumer.

dodge has gone to hell since being forced to kill off the models with V8s

And then have TSA grope me, sit in an aluminum tube with a bunch of uncouth slobs next to a 500 pound woman with fat rolls invading my seat, catch a bug from the inevitable sick ass who is on every flight coughing up his lungs, waste several days, pay for airline tickets, hotels, food, gas across country, then deal with DMV in person to get my registration and pay the sales tax. Yeah, sounds like a plan.

Top trim in manual, even if its not a hybrid engine - pro or trailhunter. No, I'm not interested in modding my truck to be same or better than OEM - been there done that.. I want it out the door the best possible version with the special color. Considering I bought 3 TRD MT pros new, you'd think I'd be among their target customer.

Besides around the U.S., to Saudi Arabia and back (by way of Paris and England) on commercial, to South Korea and back twice on commercial (by way of Tucson, Phoenix, Oakland, Anchorage, Japan). I'm done. I've decided to drive everywhere. A few years back I drove from Tucson to Denver and back and it was actually a pleasant trip. No traffic except in major cities and good weather.
