Hey guys, I have a 2016 sr5 4cyl 2wd quicksand. I love the look of the black rhino wheel with the desert color on them but everything i have read on here says they are to heavy for the 4cylinder. I have also read that tire size wise, i can probably get away with a 265/70/17 without having to lift my truck. Is there any other quality 17 wheels that may have this type of desert color out there similar to the rhinos that anyone is using? This is my first truck and tire size to wheel size to lift and etc is a ton of info to navigate. Basically i want the biggest AT tire with wheels that my 4cyl can handle without a lift? Any suggestions? This is more for looks. The little off-roading will be hunting trails in eastern N.C. nothing extreme

Seems odd. How much do the wheels you're looking at weigh?

I think between 35-40 pounds but i keep seeing posts around saying it may be to heavy for 4cyl. I really have no idea just been going through the posts on here for 2 weeks

That's really heavy. I think the stock are right around 25.

Yeah those wheels are super heavy from what i see. Really want something with that desert color though just can’t find anything close to those black rhinos

If you stick with P-metric Tires I think they'd be fine. 10lbs is basically the difference you'd have if you stayed with stock wheels and installed an LT tire. I've seen people on here running LRE tires on stock wheels with the 4 cylinder, so I'm sure you can do the reverse and install a heavier wheel with a standard load tire. Where you're just going for a 'look' and don't plan on any heavy off-roading you don't need an LT tire anyway.
