I've had some run-ins with thieves on a previous outing and wanted to secure my bed. I mocked up an idea and was hoping to get any recommendations.

Location - Murrieta, but willing to drive.

What did they steal? If it was only the rotopax, a steel cable and lock would do the trick IMO.

Is that just a cover for the open space beside the RTT?

You'll need a sheet metal/welder for this, plenty of people here with those skills.

You could probably use the side rails to fasten your cover, just throwing it out there.

I'd powdercoat the cover afterwards to protect it from the elements.

    Good luck

I posted the below for another OP looking for fabrication work.

Rob (949-378-1446) has a shop in Laguna Hills and does great off road fabrication work. He made a bed rack for me about 2 years ago and can do steel bumpers, tailgates, anything custom with metal, etc. Try him, he may be able to help you out.
