Sounds good to me. That works better for me since I'm in Fayetteville.

Going to the Natural State Overland Bonfire at Byrds last weekend of the month, But the rest of the month I'm tied up. I'm sure others will be up to something. What part of the State are you in?

I wish! They'd have an awful hard time getting it back once it was time to swap!

    Yeah.

Looks like a Dakar vehicle, but they don't run the Dakar.

    Yeah.
Sorry, I would if it was relatively close and I had a trailer, but I don't. Metro areas of AR are a bit spread out, what area is it in?

I just saw a guy post 100+ GMC bedliners on FB for FREE. But you have to take them all and give him $100 bill that you get back when they are all gone. You can't make this stuff up.

Speaking of which, did ya'll catch this? https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rear-end-feels-weird.543261/

We’re not stoopid, we’re from Arkansas, not SoCal. But we (@Dave_M ) did save the day with the help of @TerraNerva ’s Granny. Story to be told on a later trip...

Nope, you could’ve handled 93% of what we did. If you had trouble, we’d pull you out by the axle

Got my best side, Pete..thanks. And not a prob with the tacos, but apparently caliper bolts leaving the party on an 80 are not an uncommon occurrence. Blue locktite, 95 lbs torque and new OEM bolts on the way....

Ya'll start talking dates for next trip, sure we can all come together on something. I'm considering the run the Razorback Cruisers are doing May3-6, but not sure. And noooo on the red loctite, I need to be able to service my brakes without a torch and 8' breaker bar, and broken bolt heads

    Yeah.
Just put good pads on, let the next guy worry about servicing. Kidding, I'm a by-the-book mechanic, everything goes to spec and I hate letting other people work on my vehicles.

I was telling my wife about the trip and said Chip had a breakdown. She was concerned, but a little confused about the type of breakdown. I had to explain that it was not mental. She is just not used to any kind of vehicle breakdown, apparently, funny conversation. #toyotalife

I need some maps. CB stuff will be here Friday for a more permanent install, so maybe I can hear more than a third of the conversation and have fewer wires running everywhere. Got a Little Wil antenna for the Midland so my wife can use it to chat up truckers and make sure they aren't fretting about stuff. That little Midland is a nice unit, thanks for the tip! She will enjoy it.

Haha well maybe then. I don't have any sweet camping gear, cb radio, etc. though. She's just a pavement queen. I do have a rear recovery point though so I've got that going for me.
