For just the awning or the whole rack? I've seen that for the entire rack, but not for the awning itself

Our house faces NW and is bounded by a retaining wall on the NE side -- neighbor's house is like 4 feet higher. No sun, not great drainage, seepage from uphill, and previous owner had a downspout dumping water directly in the area (he also had the sprinkler zones all jacked up). As you can imagine, nothing will grow, and basically that side of the garage and the gate area was a mud pit any time it rained. My first home project was checkerboarding it with pavers, and I filled around them with pea gravel. I also redirected that spout to dump onto the driveway, so much of that water now drains off further down the yard or just to the street. No more mud pit! Still need to put up some of that metal edging to keep the pea gravel from migrating . .

 

As stated, a work in progress - got the hard part done. Have to let the dirt settle and tamp down the pavers. Gonna let the Bermuda grass grow into the area around the shed and use white granite stones along the house which is heavily shaded now and can't grow anything.

 

Or at least a few Yuenglings...

Teehee, I could help populate some branches there. Not sure I can handle ten Yuenglings, though.

I was looking at that yesterday trying to figure out which way stuff was moving and saw that it was just sitting. Looks like ONF got plenty as well.

Got my sliders on without much trouble, seem to be pretty sturdy.

 

Which means decent water for the soon to be sunburned hordes crowding the rivers and creeks this mem day weekend. Good weekend to stay home, mow and fire up the grill.

 

That is where you can find me. Need to figure out what kind of beast my family would like charred.
