    Correct, but don't forget to factor in the cost of living. As far as winters, it all depends on where you live. A typical Anchorage winter day can run single digits and a typical Fairbanks winter day can run -20 F. I hear summer will be on a Tuesday this year.

    On the island a 24 pack of beer was over $40. But when I flew for the summer, I just lived in a tent camp, and all my meals and laundry were covered. They paid for my ticket up there and back home when the snows started. I didn't have to buy anything
