I gotta figure out when my parents are coming through, but if I can I will bring the Pbroverlander. Heck, if they are here my dad may want to come with me. You think I'm weird . . .

Ugh, I still haven’t built my rack for mine yet. I really wanted it for the fall semester, but since classes start on Monday and I haven’t even acquired the rest of my materials yet, I’m not going to be able to get it built in time

 

Anybody going to the overland event coming up in October?

 

Yep, I’ll have my truck / booth set up in the Vendor area

 

Awesome. This will be my first one I’ve been to. I’m super excited. Any advice on what I will need or what I should do while there?

Tis the season

 

Heading towards 200 (all kinds) rigs this year. Camping, wheeling, campfires, scenery, chatting, buying, selling, trading, raffles, eating, drinking and much more.....hope to see more Tacomas there.

 

Man, you got that right! It's just all wedding, all the time. I can't wait for bonfire weather though. I'm pumped to get out and explore some. Gotta satisfy my wanderlust before I get too caught up chasin' ducks.

 

I know that if a wedding falls on a Razorback game day I ain't going. When I had my wedding I made sure it was on their bye week. Im pumped for cooler weather, football, and deer season. Not much duck hunting up here.

 

Have there been more jeeps there than Tacoma's?

 

Last year they called it a draw between Toyotas and Heeps, bunch of other rigs showed up to, its an interesting mix...

 

There was actually a fair number of discos and 4runners at the bonfire. But there were also a few dodge 3/4 tons. Not sure if that's the same crowd that'll be at the Rendezvous

 

I hope to get my bed rack built before October...

 

Soo, if I am able to make it to the Rendezvous, is there a place to set up my RTT without reserving one of the RV camp sites (doubt there are any left anyway)? What's the primitive area like?

 

Primitive....camp where ya park it.

RV spots have electric and water.

 

Sometimes primitive means you gotta walk to a tent pad . . . cool

 

Looking to get a bed rack but cant come up with much. Anyone have any recommendations that wont break the bank? Ive looked at the KB VOODOO but it like how boxy it looked. I want one that is flush with the cab because I float a lot and would like to haul my canoe and kayak with out a trailer.
