    I thinking about a Holiday trip from day after Christmas to New Years, and tossing ideas around. Big Bend, anyone? Can sit on the South Rim and ring in 2019 the wild way...Chisos Basin Campground fills up fast , but plenty of backcountry/broverland camping to be had out there.

    Alright, so I’m gonna camp Friday night somewhere on the way to, or near Fayetteville. Hanging out with some people in Fayetteville Saturday night, then camping somewhere near there that night. Then AirB&B Sunday night. I need spot suggestions. Looking for somewhere somewhat secluded. In the mountains, preferably near a stream.

    Where are you coming from? Sounds like you will be searching for a camping spot in the dark on Saturday. Lake Weddington to the west of Fayetteville sounds like it has great facilities for campground camping. Devil's Den to the south. For dispersed camping, you'll have to explore the forest roads in the ONF.
