    Alicia's birthday was this weekend, and all she wanted to do was to head out into the woods for a couple days. I got pretty lucky with that one! The waterfalls were really flowing after all that rain, but as a result getting to the base of most of them was pretty treacherous. After about 3 miles of bushwhacking we even managed to find a pretty large falls feeding Richland Creek that isn't listed in the Tim Ernst book. We definitely aren't the first to see it, but it was a cool thing to stumble across. Here's a few photos I snagged between sliding down mountain sides.

    Thanks y’all. I just finished unloading the trailer in Dallas. I already miss the hills! I went for one last ride on Friday and it was a slippery mess, but so fun. I was happy to give my friends who came in town a taste of what the Ozarks have to offer. We did some water crossings and some super slick hill climbs that were a lot of fun. I lost a wheel center cap along the way somewhere, so a part of me is still up there. I heard a lot of “I wish I came to Arkansas” these past few days. I hope I’ll have some time off in the future that will allow me to come back up for a trip.
