    Yeah.
I bet that's a great Dallas alley ripper -- as kids we used to (illegally) ride motorcycles all over the place by sticking to the neighborhood alleys there in Richardson. Knew all the places where poles blocked cars from using them as short-cuts so we could elude any pursuers.

3 out of the 4 are, and one of them actually has a plate on it because I used it to ride around Fayetteville when I was there.
I’ve pegged the speedometer on my licensed one, so it’ll do at least 55mph with a little help from gravity. (I think the speedo stops at 55)
I used to ride them around town towards the end of highschool but now they just sit in the shop. I’ll go out and run them every once in a while. Need some new o-rings on the carburetor on one of them though. It leaks fuel like crazy all of a sudden.

I had a grom for a couple years before i sold it. Barely rode it because i always ended up choosing the larger bikes

Fun bikes if its the only one you have. Just not fun enough to justify not jumping on my others

I wanted a Grom, but they’re too expensive for what they are IMO. They were too new to buy a used one when I started college so that wasn’t an option. Instead, I took a 1980 CT70 and engine swapped it to a 125cc 4spd. Basically made myself a retro Grom and it got a hellova lot of attention. I was asked if it was for sale on a weekly basis. The original 70cc wasn’t gonna cut it on the hills for me.

Yeah they are expensive. I wanted to use it more of a truck bike (something to toss in the bed) but didnt justify keeping it

    A thing or two...
My power is out down here in Camden. It went out a little before 2100 on Wednesday night and came back at 0200 on Thursday morning. Entergy took the power back down around 0800 on Thursday, and the last text notice said the estimate to finish repairs and restore power is Sunday.

I see them pop up on facebook marketplace all the time, but I think I'm gonna wait til I turn 25 this year to see what my insurance prices look like. I know bikes can sometimes be a handle like that.

I was only paying like $7/mo. But 2 other vehicles, and had 2 bikes, 28, no accidents

Ouch. Bad timing with first day summer and heat advisories. Hope you got a generator or some way to stay cool. Mine came back on yesterday around 5

No generator. I'm at a hotel. I had to go down to El Dorado because nothing was available in town.

I'm going to have to toss everything in the refrigerator. The fridge was at the top end of the safe zone on the thermometer I keep in the fridge.

Id rather deal with heat than freezing. Had power go out for a week this winter.

That'd be rough, but if you have a fireplace, you can pump some heat into the house. Still have the refrigerator though.
