    Yeah.
Is that one of those Australian ironwood trees? Must have been some heavy wood.

Red gum Eucalyptus. It's invasive, prone to failure and highly flammable foliage (latest fires in Australia). In California where they are prolific, they have whats called "sudden limb drop", where limbs or chunks of trees just randomly break off and smash whatever, or whoever is underneath.

No more basketball, sorry folks. No more baseball, sorry folks. I think we all need to join Mr. May and isolate in Cabo.

    Come on down!

I would love to get an Ozark camping trip in....if my music festival next month cancels I might have to drive up there and make it happen.

You’re not exactly on the way from me to Austin!

This is one work trip I wouldn’t mind making longer.

How's everyone holding up? We're stocked up (need more Vanilla Ice Cream ) as most of us probably are. Church was on the web this morning. Planning on keeping the store open for as long as its allowed - we have minimal close social interaction with key demographics, but I'm sure business will slow down except for the electric utility and cellular guys. Still doing tree inspections at Zips and others as planned - again minimal close social interaction with key demographics. We shall see.....

Everything is going good down here. I'm not buying anything extra. Just restocked my normal stores that I'd let run low. I'll be glad when everything returns to normal. Already tired of it being the only thing in the news and every other post from people I know on FB.

Still waiting on word if we'll be working remotely. Store was bare, not a single roll of TP, can of soup, eggs, cheese, or frozen pizza to be had, and coffee was down to store brand and not many of those. All good otherwise. I'll have to venture back out for some basics later today and hope for the best. I'm going Walking Dead style with my .357 strapped on my hip....

There was stuff at the Walmart down here, but it was pretty sparse. What I find interesting/dumb is that everyone is stockpiling TP for a respiratory illness instead of facial tissue. Facial tissue was fully stocked.
