I've camped out there one time. A lot of the sites are close to the main roads, but there are some better ones further away from potential traffic. I saw the hiking trail you took, but luckily I guessed right and took the blocked off road. Great overlook at the end.

Unfortunately or fortunately I am able to work from home, saving my PTO for something a bit more interesting.

@Doc's Rig Where is that Cali raised switch panel located? I want to add something similar to mine, but idk where it could possibly go because I already have switches everywhere else!

I added ditch lights to mine in the only spot left in the slot under the cubby. I actually had to modify the hole so the switch would fit properly. I kept the knockout because it can still be put in like nothing was ever there if I decide to remove them.

Does anyone else get friendly reminders from Mother Nature to clean and inspect their winch rope/cable?

Yes sir, passed by a couple hundred yards of my place. I had someone's OSB and shingles my yard. My neighbor had someone's rafters. And a house down the street had a huge tree fall in the front and their shop in the back twisted up. The flea market at the edge of my neighborhood is flat gone.

    Crazy times we live in.
