I've trying to figure out if I want to purchase the Warn bag or create my own.

Tell me more about your fancy switch @Dave_M.

You could probably fix up your own recovery bag for less money. My winch came with the bag so I gladly took it

I also have the Warn recovery bag and it's served me well. I did buy a few extra shackles to throw in.

I have the Warn Zeon 10-S with a remotely mounted solenoid and a Factor 55 ProLink. I've been very pleased with the setup the few times I've needed it.

Don’t let @MatthewMay1 fool you. It is not a fancy switch. It’s just a 600A marine switch to disconnect the unfused winch circuit when not in use. Winch wiring can easily result in a vehicle fire since there is no overload protection. A small fender bender or even normal wear could expose the cable causing a short to ground and a real bad day. I’ve got it mounted to the fan shroud. If I want to use the winch I just pop the hood and flip the switch and it’s all ready to go.

I'm installing the winch this weekend. I might have to relocate the solenoid pack due to space limitations with the front bumper. If any of you have done this, where did you relocate the pack? Just curious...trying to be proactive. Thx.

Here's mine. I was lucky to have an empty spot in my engine bay. However, I was unlucky in that the spot was a little further away than my relocation kit allowed. I used welding cable and heavy duty mechanical lugs to extend my relocation kit by a about 6 inches.

Mine barely fit with the hidden winch bumper, but mine and Pete's setups are not typical. I had maybe 3/8" clearance on the solenoid once was all said and done, but nothing that interfered with operation. @TenBeers has a similar set up to yours, Doc, so maybe he can chime in.

@TerraNerva I got a good view of the Sierra Madres today. Some of those cliffs look insane. You lose a lot of perspective from 41,000, but it’s still impressive. Especially compared to the surrounding area.

Cool shot, you are way up there! And yeah, those cliffs look impressive considering that altitude.

Wow, what a great shot! Gives some scale to those big hills down in Ma-hee-ko. Can see why that mountain range has 2 of the top 10 highest waterfalls in the the world.

Well, I wasn't prepared to spend a bunch of extra money this month but my phone quit working and is unrepairable. I ordered me a 128GB iPhone 11 this morning and since my old phone won't turn on, we couldn't set up the account to do the 30 month AT&T payment plan. Ugh. $939.61 :frusty:

Hey guys I'm in Jonesboro, AR. and looking for some extra work to get through these tough times.
I have an adjustable pressure washer powerful enough to do concrete and gentle enough to do vehicles and siding.
I also know how to work on Harley Davidson's and small engines.
On Harley's I can change the oil, tighten primary chain, tighten the clutch, change trans fluid, and any other minor service.
I can repair or service any small engine and any brand. Chainsaws, weed-eaters, blowers, tillers, push mowers and riding mowers.
I'll also change the oil in your car, service your brake pad and rotors, and service the transmission pan (no full transmission fluid swap).

    Thanks for the support!

We wanted to get some Rock Town hand sanitizer but saw a huge line and decided it wasn't worth it.
