PSA.....wash your hands after chopping homegrown jalapeños and onions. Don’t just rinse, WASH your hands thoroughly...especially when drinking beers while cooking :drunk::bananadead:

    Yeah.
I had a bumper crop back in MO (no garden here yet), so I was boiling some for canning. I took a look in the pot and put my face in the steam. That is a no-no.

It's been my experience that washing doesn't do much when dealing with capsaicin oil. You're better off wearing latex/nitrile gloves, so you just throw it all away. Another option is washing with alcohol since capsaicin is alcohol soluble, so that works better than soap and water.

Nice truck! I'm also in Fort Smith with a 2019 Tacoma OR.

I went to carwash falls a few months ago, definitely a worthwhile trip. The river crossing was a bit nerve racking as it was only my second one, but not issues with stock suspension and tires.

Replaced the light outside the door into my shop with a motion light today. Only took me 3 tries and a month  to finally get the right pieces to fix the ghetto install of the original light.

Wife and I took a mini road trip this past Thurs. Went to Shine Eye on the Buffalo, took Peel Ferry into MO, and visited Hodgson Water Mill near Sycamore, MO. Stopped in Mountain View for dinner on the way home.

That's just the gel coat on my unpainted fiberglass. It's a lot dirtier up close and in person. One of these weekends I might get the motivation to work on it, so I can start driving it again.

    Thanks.

Thanks Ben! I know I see a handful of Tacos in town, I figured some will be on here. Thanks for your incite, it helps knowing before hand going there in stock. Videos of the drive didn't seem too bad and we haven't been getting too much rain lately for water levels to be a concern. Would like to get going on a trip to carwash falls in the near future.

    Thanks Pete!
It was great meeting you as well, and thank you for showing me around your shop!

We took your advice, and headed up toward Pinnacle. However, just after we got off of hwy10, the boss called and said she finished her assignment early, so my little boy and didn't make it up to the top. We'll have to do that another time.
Yesterday afternoon, as we drove through the NF, I stopped by one of the Ranger Stations and picked up a map. I'll definitely hit you up on your offer! Thank you.

If your son has any questions on what we discussed, just let me know and I'll happy to help the best I can.

    Cheers
