I tried whacking some ducks this morning and only got the muck boots in the bed of my truck stolen. But they left my kayak.o_O

The only other group at the ramp got some busted windows and gear/tools stolen. That public boat ramp life sometimes invites the crazies, I guess.

    Yeah.
Hey @Arkansas4x4 not a problem. I do have one question: I haven't had to use my winch yet, and don't anticipate having to use it in extreme circumstances, but you never know. Would you recommend adding the extra frame braces? I didn't order them, but I am sure I could add them. Trying to keep weight to a minimum since I am all stock.

    So. Many. Stickers.

Add them. Worth having for that one time you end up using it.

    A thing or two...
Get the bracing if the 3rd gen frame horns are like the 2nd gen frame horns. Mine bent in short order winching and getting pulled out. I used the SOS frame braces to fix/re-enforce the horns.

Tacoma frame horns are crap, and the bumper stand-offs on the 2nd gen aren't much better. Def want some beef there so you can winch me out haha

    Yeah.
OK, thanks everyone. I've added it to my order. Another case of rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it . . . even the Warn bumper has some additional braces, so it got me thinking.

    Yeah.

HA, no, I like the Pro suspension, that's the main reason I got the Pro. I lost less than a half inch with the current Warn bumper and winch and don't notice a difference, so this won't be any different.

On another note, for any 3rd genners out there, I don't think I'll be able to use my Rigid fogs in the new bumper. I might post them up here if that is the case, complete with the needed trim pieces.

Any NWAer willing to lend the ECGS bushing removal and install tools when I do the 6112/5160 suspension? All the parts will hopefully be delivered by the end of December. :fingerscrossed:

Is it the same tool as 1st gens? If so I have one I could mail or drop off with @PinnaclePete if he hasn't already left to go up there. Would like it back at some point though.

Anyone near Hazen or De Valls Bluff? I may head out there after work if he's still stuck.

By the way, if anyone thinks they might want a 3rd gen long bed softopper, let me know. I don't see myself using it in the future and would extend the TW discount if anyone here is interested.
