    Yeah.
When you download the map tiles, you can choose a zoom option (I actually just figured this out). Obviously higher zoom means they will take up more space. My app was set to 15, max is 18. Not sure how the app reacts if you are missing tiles, or if you are zooming to a detail level higher than the downloaded map tiles. I zoomed in real close on the Victor camp site area using the USFS layer and it seemed fine, not sure higher detail would do anything other than crisp up the image, but it looked fine. I did note that the Gaia Topo doesn't contain road numbers for minor roads like the USFS map does, haven't figured out if there is a setting to add them in or they just aren't there. But, the Gaia Topo maps are fast.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Stock tacos can drive 98% of Moab. bring a big stick or a meter stick for the water crossing. And if you don't feel comfortable doing them, then go around.

    Yeah.
I'm actually surprised we haven't run that road, looks like I've done the southeastern part up past the Flint Store, but then headed north to Rosetta. The Gazetteer shows it as a decent road going all the way through, but yeah, lots of crossings. Some may be improved. Google Maps just shows a road on either end. USFS map shows it going through as Mt. Pleasant road, but calls it 1405 all the way. Worth a look, maybe someone else will chime in.

Well the road 5550 from hwy 21 to hwy 123 was a neat little road with a few puddles and about 6 water crossings nothing very deep

So after inspection of my truck today I noticed that my inner cv axle seal is leaking on the driver side and there is quite a bit of play in the axle. After some research on tacomworld it seems that the needle bearing is pretty common for going bad and that most people replace the needle bearing with a bushing from east coast gear supply. I was wondering if anyone around here has done this repair and if they have the special tool that east coast gear supply sells to remove the needle bearing

Well, as fun as it has been having all my stuff rattle around on the rear seat delete, I think I'm gonna go a different path. I've been riding around with an old junky tote in the bed for about a month and didn't particularly miss the space. Freeing up the back seat area for people and folding the back seat down will compensate for a little less bed space.

I have that tool and have changed it. I changed it when I first started playing with suspension bits. You absolutely need the tool. Now, I don't know if that's causing your play, but if you're pulling the CV, might as well change it. You want to have one of those magnets on a wire handy too in case you lose a needle out of it when you pulled the CV. It can fall in the diff and ruin your day. While it's a pain getting that tool lined up and getting the bushing started straight, the worst part for me was yanking that CV out.

Would you be willing to let me borrow it for a small fee? I just didn't really want to pay $45 for the tool for a one time use

Just curious, did you notice any decent dispersed camp sites on that road?

Yeah there were a couple. The first one we came to not to far off of hwy 21 was pretty nice right next to a little stream

Anyone interested in full stock suspension for a 5th gen 4Runner with 2500 miles on it? Springs, struts, upper control arms and rear shocks. I need them out of my garage.

Hi all! I'll be living in Arkansas for the next few months and thought I'd introduce myself! I'll be living in Rogers area working on Beaver Lake.

I'm curious to hear how that tablet works out. I currently have a Samsung tab A and the GPS very rarely works. I think it's a hardware issue. I am able to use my phones GPS via Bluetooth but it's not ideal.

I've been using Backcountry Navigator XE for a bit. I has a website that can be synced with Android tablets. It's a relatively new program and has had some bugs but I think they are working there way through most of them now.
