Father-in-law came over last night and introduced us to this show:

    https://www.pbs.org/show/exploring-arkansas/

The app is free to download on a Firestick (and probably others) and we watched a couple of episodes. The guy got into some pretty interesting stuff.

    Yeah.
Dang, 15 seasons! Will have to check that out. You can watch it from their web site, but I'll download the PBS app to my TV.

Old Chuck Dovish. He used to do Traveling Arkansas which was a weekly highlight segment on KTHV, before he went to work at PBS. really cool stuff. I remember watching him back in the 80's. I bet he's got some stories to tell.

Actually I have the 2014 DCLB Sport w/ 189K. Only "issues" I've had is 2 new batteries, driver's side UCA ball joint and new all around brakes done this past fall. Other routine maintenance, grease, diff oil changes and a couple of signal fluid oil changes, no problems. I'm due some other preventative things, but the truck has been great. Drive it, crawl under it look for obvious things...ball joints, drive line, brakes etc. Your 2018 should get you enough to buy it and do any repairs. If its a good deal buy it and DIY most everything it might need.

I've got a '13 and just hit 100k miles about a month ago and I did a ton of preventive maintenance including new diff + transfer case fluids, throttle body and injector clean, new front brake pads and rotors. I also had a bad wheel bearing so had to do that, but other than a dead battery, warped rotors, toasted wheel bearing, and the dealership grenading my radiator + fan and regular maintenance items I've had no problems on and off-road. I haven't even done the secondary air mods yet but probably should.

No thank you. Since COVID my work has made everyone sign telework agreements and since they're no longer a day off with the family snow days don't appeal to me too much.

I’ve gotta work no matter what. Gotta be in store no matter the weather. Utilities and contractors already trying to buy me out… They’re thinking worst case at this point.

    Yeah.
Yeah, wife got a snow day (she is a school aide). Not me. Chained to Zoom. It stopped raining up here, then dropped below freezing. Streets are wet, but likely still too warm to freeze. Like Pete, just hoping for it to just be snow.

It's still just raining here in Conway, UCA already has sand down on some of the roads in campus. I guess they're expecting a blizzard, I'm just hoping for my classes and lab to be canceled tomorrow and maybe Friday.
