Wish I had money to throw at a full skid package for the 4Runner but I just got sliders.

Big ask here... attached is a file for a 9 day trip I am planning to make in the end of March. Trip starts in Ashland WI and shoots down to the Mark Twain NF and then into the Ozark NF. This is just the outline. I am hoping that those who know can add detail of places I shouldn't miss, camp sites, roads to drive etc. This is as good as I can do with Google Maps as my FS maps are not here yet. Yes I have asked before, but that was to save time on research, this is the end product... thanks in advance

With all of the riding you are doing you appear to be skipping an awesome trail on this day.
    Trailhead https://www.google.com/maps/place/K...f2efbf71d11eee!8m2!3d35.8568396!4d-93.4945428
    Trail info https://www.oztrails.com/trail-locations/upper-buffalo-headwaters/

Also on that day, road 1410 down to Dixon Ford can be a little tight and scratchy and has a couple of mudpits...but is a pretty fun drive if you're into that kind of thing. Also there is an awesome campsite right next to the river crossing at the bottom.

Thank you! The whole idea for me is to find trails where ever I go that make me a tad uncomfortable... mud makes me uncomfortable. I'll have a winch. Scratches seem to buff. My daughter is just beside herself for Car Wash Falls...
Does the 405 road go through to Dixon Ford? Does not show that on Google Maps.
The bike trail info is important as I don't know which are best. This is a "sampler plate" type trip. I will look at this trail, thanks for the tip!

Do you have Gaia? We can send you some routes with some dispersed campsites you can import. This is all opinion, YMMV, but there are better options than what you have planned out. If there hasn't been any rain, Car Wash isn't that spectacular, so be prepared for that. The whole area is really scenic but Car Wash can be a disappointment. I would highly recommend some other routes coming and going. Check out Pilot Rock Road off 123, Indian Creek Road off 123, and over by Victor there is North Fork Road and lots of dispersed campsites to check out. Rather than Tyler bend, you should check out Ponca, Steel Creek and Kyle's Landing on the Buffalo...amazing limestone bluffs and really scenic area. You'll be close to Boxley Valley, also really cool, and there are elk all over Boxley/Ponca. If you choose this area, think about hiking into Hemmed in Hollow, tallest waterfall between Appalachians and Rockies. Also, you should check out Falling Water Falls and Richland Creek area. If you choose Leatherwood, Gunner's Pool is a great campground, too...so many options...

This! Thanks you! No Gaia-I use Avenza. Don't know if that is compatible.
Seems that whole area hemmed by 123 and 7 has amazing things to offer. May not bother going deeper and just spend an extra day there and work up through your other suggestions towards Jasper...

About a year ago the drive to Dixon Ford took me a little longer than expected lol. Those mudholes are really sneaky when they are hiding under a layer of snow.

    Yeah.
Haha, whoops, I remember you posting that.

I've ridden the Berryman from Brazil Creek CG. It's a great trail, not much that is technical, but a lot of climbing up ridges and dropping back down to valleys. Over and over again. There's a place to shortcut it if you run out of gas like I did. Just south of there off of DD is Council Bluff Lake that has a great campground and trail around the lake for a 12.5 mile ride (ride it CCW). There's a beach area away from the campground that has showers, too (bring quarters).

As far as your plans in AR, you'll be in a great area with lots of options. But like TerraNerva said, Car Wash falls may be just meh, and depending on the day you might hit a lot of traffic (it's a popular weekend drive).

Okay question about direction: is Indian Creek Dr (1808 on Google) best driven North to South or does it matter? Same question for Pilot Rock rd (4840 on Google).
Thanks for the input about Car Wash-I guessed as much, but my daughter thinks it is novel. I will come down river from Limestone on (google says) road 311 (I have seen other maps that show this road goes through despite what Google says) to the falls and I am currently think (based on your input) going down (south) on Pilot Rock and then come up Indian Creek (north). This is a daddy play day as it seems there are fun trails to be on here.
Some back story: I was supposed to go to Moab last spring with my daughter for a week of riding and 4 wheeling. Unfortunately, due to a Covid issue the proper thing to do was stay and I did. This trip was supposed to be my Moab trip; unfortunately, my copilot said no. She wanted to go back to Bentonville and ride. Compromise was an overland trip with new unexplored trails to ride.
I am sure I will have more questions for you. Thanks for your input!

I prefer Indian Creek north to south but it can be run either way. The only reason I prefer north to south is that the north is bumpy w/ 'meh' views. South is more interesting.

As I come through, for ease I am thinking this: Pilot rock down and up Indian Creek, although if I do it in reverse I could go back up and find a good camp on the river... what to do what to do?

If I stay the course coming down through Dixon Ford, Glory Hole Falls and then down from Limestone through this and then down North Fork rd. for a big day. Any camping near Cowboy Up Trails or at the bottom of North Fork?

If I stay the course coming down through Dixon Ford, Glory Hole Falls and then down from Limestone through this and then down North Fork rd. for a big day. Any camping near Cowboy Up Trails or at the bottom of North Fork?

These trails look like fun, I've been wanting to go to carwash falls and steel creek. I'm always a bit nervous to find new trails as I am usually by myself. On another note, I finally got my wheels!

    Yeah.
Looks good! The road to car wash falls is groomed gravel, narrow in spots but plenty of places to pull over to let people pass. If going north from 123, you do have to cross Hurricane Creek, but it is an easy crossing if the water level isn't crazy high. Most of the stuff posted are not crazy trails, and lots of roads are actually maintained county roads, not even NF. It's when you get to NF roads with more than 4 digits that you need to watch out, lol.
