I was out this weekend surveying damage, and it is a lot worse than it looks on tv. There are entire neighborhoods wiped out. I have worked most of the tornadoes in central and a lot of North Arkansas for the last 29 years. And this ranks up at the top of them all. It was in the ground for a long track. It’s sad to see up close and in person.
This one is bad for another reason. There are ALOT of apartments that were damaged, and there is no way there will be enough vacancies around for people to find a place to live. Going to be a lot of people needing temp shelter and assistance for a while.

Thank you for the information and assessment. This will take some amount of time for recovery.

I picked up this little trailer when I thought I was going to buy a 4wheeler, but then I didn't buy a 4wheeler. So here we are:

I've got a 2022 Long bed OEM exhaust for free.99, meet up in Little Rock. Last call on it before it goes to the scrap yard.

    Yeah.
Speaking of free stuff, I have a 3rd gen OEM hitch receiver. Might work on a 2nd gen, don't really know, but they moved the 7-pin connector from the hitch to the bumper on the 3rd gen so it doesn't have the bracket that everyone bashes into the ground anyway. Located in NW Arkansas. PM me if you need it.

Alright TW brain trust, got a couple questions about Colorado. I'm headed out for the Rocky Mountain Toyota Roundup (the old FJ Summit), and trying to decide on trail rides to go on.

    Alpine Loop
    Black Bear Pass
    California Pass (Gulch?)
    Imogene Pass
    Poughkeepsie Gulch

I wanna do Black Bear, if my nerves can handle it. The steps worry me more than the switchbacks.....

We did Mineral Creek to Engineer Pass last year. Granted, it was in a rental to appease the better half. (she didn't want to ride all the way out there in my truck.) But she agreed to go so I didn't push it too much!

Thanks in Advance.......Any insight or help y'all could pass along is most appreciated!

Imogene is epic, Black Bear is over rated, and Alpine lets you cover a lot of ground and do several epic passes.I would do Alpine way before Id do Black Bear. Honestly, we have shied away from the San Juans on most every trip cuz it's just so dang crowded. I really want to do Yankee Boy Basin. It's an in and out but has a cut over to Imogene so could do both if you had time. We did do Stony from Creede to Silverton two years ago, and it was fun. Not as many people, remote, and pretty epic camping in that valley.

I don't like doing trails that stress me out, that I might die on, or make me worry about being able to get my truck home afterwards. There's a lot of hype out there, do what makes you comfortable and has great scenery.

If anyone has any interest in the bed bars from my second gen, let me know. 3 of them, low rise, no frills, but bomber. I'll make Arkansas TW folks a hella deal on them.

Just got back from a little overnighter with my Dog. Was planning on taking the whole family Saturday, but the weather messed that up. Did the fun drive down Beech Grove, camped on Morgan Mountain, and took the long way home through the forest. Good times.
