Whelp its been two years and I am still waiting on my motor to get done. Starting to get a little aggravated. When I dropped it off i was expecting 6 months max but we are over the two year mark. If it wasnt a family member doing it id be beating down his door.

I'd definitely be banging on their door. But since they're family I'd bring beer and say "let's go do this" (and then closely monitor beer intake while they work on my engine).

Haha yeah. the reason i took it to him is because he worked for Toyota for 30 years and has done work for me before and i know hes good, a little slow but not 2 years slow.

Complete rebuild. But in the process needed a new block and new head and possibly a new crank.

Full moon made for some really visible night camping this past weekend. I'm waiting for a sale to get another set of ST Maxx's, but I was proud of how these did getting us off my buddy's sandbar even with 50k miles on them.

    Aloha everyone!

We're passing through with a 25ft TT and need to find an overnight stop anywhere between Van Buren & Little Rock off of I40. Ive found the Ozark rest-area (which most rest-areas suck at actually being restful), cracker barrels, and camping world but thought I'd ask here incase any of you know of some forest land nearby that will be prettier and quieter than the mentioned...

    Cheers!

    Yeah.
We've used Clear Creek in Alma as a quick overnighter. Not awesome, but better than a parking lot. https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/10049434

Petit Jean campground is about 25 minutes off I40 near Morrilton. I’ve never been, but I have friends who have gone multiple times.

Thanks will have a look for another time, Ive just found Piney Bay campground, it's only 5 mins off the hwy.

Reading through some of the reviews makes me laugh, one lady complaining that she was given grief because the ranger didn't like the fact that she had loose chickens in a pen... sounds very much like HI!

    ...Except you guys got snakes!

We do have tons of snakes and way less ocean. I hope our state treats you well.
